The high school student wants to put away the microphone, but the corn auntie gently stops him.
She says, “To thank him, let's sing one more short song.”
To make the sound feel steadier, A Cheng brightens the lights again.
When the older man hears the first line, he puts the paper bag in his lap.
When the song ends, he gives the paper bag to A Cheng; inside are photos of the old stage.
He says, “To keep this place from being forgotten, you already did it tonight.”
