The Presentation That Kept Moving
Grammar in this story
The office product demo is originally in the small meeting room on the east side.
After the projector breaks, everyone pushes the computer to the large meeting room on the west side.
As soon as the clients sit down, the marketing department says the large room is needed for an ad shoot.
Everyone has to go to the lounge area on the north side.
The coffee machine in the lounge is too loud, and colleagues from the technical department cannot hear the questions.
So the demo moves again to the middle part of the hallway.
After half an hour, the clients have followed the projector cart all around the company.
The manager is about to apologize, but the client says, “Your system really can work anywhere.”
A colleague from sales immediately writes that line into the new proposal.
