The Calendar Invite
Grammar in this story
On Monday morning, everyone in the office receives a new calendar invitation.
The invitation only says, “Ten o’clock, small meeting room.”
At exactly ten, sales, design, engineering, and finance all arrive.
Eight people stand at the door, and nobody knows who should go in first.
The manager says, “Let’s first confirm who sent the invitation, then decide what to do.”
After checking for a long time, they discover the office meeting bot sent it.
The bot was supposed to find empty rooms first, then arrange three meetings separately.
But it found only one, so it invited everyone.
Everyone has to squeeze into the small room and discuss all three problems together.
Half an hour later, all three problems are solved, and the manager decides to thank the bot first, then fix it.
