The Door That Closed Itself

Grammar in this story

3 concepts

The door of the community activity room has recently kept closing by itself.

Someone says the door will get angry because everyone always forgets to turn off the lights.

The property repairman smiles and says, “Do not be afraid; we will find out.”

But after checking for a long time, he does not find a broken lock.

A little girl brings over a paper strip and says the wind will help.

She tapes the paper strip beside the door crack, and it is immediately blown so it trembles.

Only then does the repairman discover that when the window opens, the old spring pulls the door back.

He says it will be fine after changing the spring.

The neighbors are a little disappointed because the story suddenly is not mysterious anymore.

The little girl comforts them, “Do not worry, next time the elevator will be stranger.”
