Origin Story

The ancient musician Gong Mingyi was famous for his beautiful lute playing. One day, he decided to play for a cow grazing in a field. He played his finest melodies, but the cow just kept eating grass, completely unmoved. Gong Mingyi realized: it wasn't that the cow was deaf—it simply couldn't appreciate music meant for human ears.
