只要继续装箱

On moving day, A Yan and her roommate agree they must leave the old apartment before dinner.

Her roommate says, “As long as we keep packing, we won't be held back by memories again.”

The first box is kitchen things, but inside is the pot from their first failed cooking attempt.

A Yan says, “As long as we don't open the lid, we can still be on time.”

The second box is books, with concert tickets they once lined up for tucked inside.

Her roommate immediately changes her mind and says, “As long as we look once, we will tape the box right away.”

The sky slowly darkens, and the living room has only one small lamp and five unsealed boxes left.

A Yan says, “As long as we take the photos with us, it's okay if the room is a little empty.”

In the end they go downstairs on time, leaving only an empty pot for the new tenant to grow mint.

Her roommate smiles and says, “As long as someone keeps living here, this apartment will still have new stories.”
