Only the Orange Chair
Grammar in this story
The community classroom is hosting a sharing event at night, but there are suddenly not enough chairs.
The manager counts three times and discovers only the orange chair has not been moved.
Everyone asks whether they can borrow it, but the auntie says this one cannot be taken.
She says, “Today only this seat has a name, even though the name isn't written.”
After the event starts, people stand at the back and grow more curious about the chair.
Only one child says he knows it is for the late uncle.
After nine, the uncle really comes in carrying a bag of trash bags.
He says he only has ten minutes to listen, but after it ends he will stay to clean up.
Everyone clears a path and finally understands that some seats only feel truly full when the right person arrives.
